Corporate Training Centre Multi-Room Audio

A corporate learning centre standardised 22 divisible training rooms on infrared kits, so a session can expand into an adjacent room without a new frequency plan or a technician on site.
The Challenge
- Rooms could be combined by opening a partition, changing the coverage requirement from day to day.
- External trainers arrived with their own laptops and expected plug-and-play audio.
- The centre runs back-to-back sessions, leaving minutes rather than hours between bookings.
The Solution
- KIT-IR-601 kits were installed in each room with a second sensor covering the opened partition zone.
- IR-610H handheld microphones were provided for Q&A and for trainers who prefer a handheld format.
- Inputs were labelled at the table so visiting trainers can connect a laptop without calling support.
The Result
22training rooms
4rooms that can combine
0support calls for setup
Room combining no longer requires audio reconfiguration, and the centre’s facilities team handles microphone charging as part of the standard room reset.
