IR Receivers & Amplifiers

IR amplifiers, all-in-one active speakers and receiver units for system upgrades, with optional sensors for larger rooms.

The receiver is the bridge between the infrared microphone and the loudspeakers. Three form factors cover most projects: a receiver that feeds an existing amplifier, an integrated infrared amplifier that drives passive speakers directly, and an all-in-one active speaker that packages receiver, amplifier and speakers in one housing. The right choice depends on what already exists in the room and whether the installation must be invisible or portable.

For upgrades, a receiver with line-level outputs lets a school keep its ceiling speakers and amplification. New-build rooms usually simplify cabling with an integrated amplifier. Larger lecture halls add remote sensors over CAT5e so the microphone stays visible from every position on the stage. When comparing models, look at rated power at the actual speaker impedance, the number of sensor ports, and whether RS-232 or network control is needed for room automation.

Tender enquiries can be supported with English datasheets, rear-panel connection diagrams and a sensor-placement guide. For projects outside the EU, confirm the local mains voltage and plug type; compliance documents for the destination market can be supplied with the commercial papers.
