Classroom Power Amplifier
Classroom power amplifiers for school sound reinforcement, with multiple inputs and clear speech projection.
A classroom power amplifier is chosen by continuous output per channel, the impedance or 100 V mode of the speakers it will drive, and the inputs the room actually uses. Speech reinforcement needs far less power than music playback, but headroom still matters: an amplifier running near its limit will clip before the room reaches a comfortable listening level. Match the amplifier to the total speaker load rather than to the loudest number on the datasheet.
For auditoria and multi-purpose halls, look for multiple line and microphone inputs, priority switching for announcements, and control options such as RS-232 or infrared remote. Protection against short circuits, overheating and DC offset is basic insurance in a school rack. If the room may later add infrared microphones, choose an amplifier with enough spare inputs or plan a separate receiver rather than replacing the whole unit.
Export versions are configured for the destination country’s mains voltage and plug type. English manuals cover rack mounting, speaker wiring and protection indicators, and a wiring diagram with impedance table can be supplied for tender packages.
