Sports Hall and Assembly Portable Reinforcement
Six sports halls and covered courts needed speech reinforcement that could be moved between venues and set up by coaches, not AV technicians.
The Challenge
- Halls are used for different sports on different days, with no fixed position for equipment.
- Covered courts are open to daylight, ruling out infrared for some events.
- Coaches needed to operate the system without training.
The Solution
- PAS8 all-in-one active speakers were supplied on trolley mounts for the indoor halls.
- MP-C01 wired gooseneck microphones were used for fixed announcements at the score benches.
- A single power connection and one volume control were specified as the operating requirement for every venue.
The Result
6venues covered
1power connection per setup
10 minsetup by one coach
Coaches move the same system between halls without technical support, and the school no longer books an AV technician for routine sports fixtures.
